Sandvik process systems acquires sgl technology welcome to an even broader food technology portfolio

15-09-2015

I am delighted to confirm that Sandvik Process Systems (SPS) has acquired the Dutch company SGL Technology (SGL), a leading company in the food sector, especially in sub-segment chocolate. The acquisition is based on a long and successful cooperation in the engineering and production of tailor-made processing machinery and equipment for chocolate.

This further expands the technology portfolio that Sandvik Process Systems can offer to the food market. The new portfolio includes:
• Chocolate moulding lines with different types of depositors
• Rotoform pastillation plants and chunk extruders
• Turn-Key food applications
• Tanks, mixers, piping and utilities
• Conveying systems and packaging equipment

The consolidation of the technologies of SPS and SGL enables us to deliver a wider range of engineering products and services extending Sandvik’s offering to be a more complete supplier to the food industry.

We look forward to working with you now and in the future and to providing excellent machinery, equipment and service solutions for increased productivity, quality and sustainability.
